Team & Culture Development

teamwork.png
Culture is what people do when no one is looking.

How a team functions is a direct result of the culture in which that team is embedded.

Sometimes an external facilitator is the perfect strategy to help your team improve their culture and
take their work to the next level, fast.
How does it work?

HOW DOES TEAM AND CULTURE DEVELOPMENT WORK?

GET ON THE SAME PAGE

The group gets on the same page about: â€‹â€‹

  • Where they are (current state)

  • Where they want to be (vision)

This step can be accomplished through one-on-one dialogue and group discussions, and/ or a culture assessment.

Ultimately, the group determines the areas they need to focus on to become a high performing team or culture.

LEARN THE SKILLS

Once the members of the team agree on where they are and where they want to be, Kerri develops training programs that will help the team members develop the professional skills needed to fulfill that vision.

The skill development is highly tailored to each unique situation.

TRUST and VERIFY

This final stage in the team building is about holding the team and individuals accountable to do the work of changing behaviors, and Kerri helping with more professional development tools, as needed.

Becoming a thriving team means that the group and individual behaviors have to change.   Unlearning has to occur.

In-Person

Feeling like your team members would benefit from being the same room?

That works!

Kerri will travel to you and support your team development in-person.

In-person sessions involve working in small groups, larger groups, and spaces for individual reflection.

Kerri partners with group leader to leverage accountability to support the shift that needs to happen. â€‹

Virtual

Working with a geographically diverse team, or on a tight budget?  Virtual facilitation is the answer!

Kerri's educational background and training makes her skilled at facilitating interactive, online sessions with groups or whole companies.

Kerri leverages breakout rooms, pre- and post-assignments and activities participants can do within their own site.
