No one likes being the ASKhole

We have all been in those shoes – the ones where you know what you say is not going to land well. In case you didn’t know, you are positioned to be the ASKhole. When we are positioned to give those answers when people are not-so-ready, it makes us the target. These are dilemmas many of my coachees discuss during our work together.

What’s the solution? Two tips:


1. Never answer a question.

2. Assess for readiness by asking a question back.
